Toms River,
NJ (December 15, 2005) – Leading gas conditioning products manufacturer Perma Pure will debut new fuel cell humidifiers for high pressure applications at the 2nd International Hydrogen & Fuel Cell Expo (FC Expo 2006), January 25-27 in Tokyo, Japan. Part of the company’s FC™-Series of fuel cell humidifiers, the new FC-300 and -400 High Pressure (HP) models provide water management for high-flow, high-pressure Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) fuel cells.
Operating at flow rates from 200 to over 1000 liters/min and at pressures up to 55 psig, the FC-300 and -400 Series HP fuel cell humidifiers are ideally suited to the demands of automotive and heavy machinery PEM fuel cells. Proprietary Nafion® technology recovers water from the fuel cell exhaust and transfers it into the incoming gases without any parasitic power drain or moving parts.
FC-Series humidifiers are self-limiting and require no controls. The lightweight devices are available in a range of models which may be used alone or in parallel to accommodate any application size. The polyphenylene sulfide construction of the HP models is highly corrosion resistant and can withstand operating temperatures of 100° C.
