Sample Conditioning from Perma Pure at Pittcon 7th February 2006

Toms River, NJ (February 7, 2006) –Gas conditioning products from Perma Pure will be exhibited at Pittcon, March 13-16 at
the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando Florida.  The company’s exhibit at booth 3533 will feature the company’s proprietary Nafion® technology for use with analytical instrumentation.

Nafion technology selectively removes only water from samples gases, leaving the rest of the gas sample unaffected.  Unlike chillers and condensers, Nafion requires no power to operate and prevents the loss of water-soluble gasses through dissolution in condensate.  Perma Pure’s PD™-Series, MD™-Series and heated MDH™-Series dryers operate over a wide range of temperatures, pressures and flow rates, and dry to dew points as low as -45°C to suit a range of analytical applications.

In addition to drying gases, Nafion technology works equally well to humidify gas streams without loss of analytes.  The ME™-Series moisture exchangers use Nafion membrane tubing to transfer water to or from a gas stream. In either application, they achieve equilibrium between the gas inside the tubing and the surrounding atmosphere.  Perma Pure also offers a full line of complimentary gas conditioning products including filters, scrubbers, and complete sample conditioning systems.
