Perma Pure will be showing its new GASS™-2040 Gas Analysis Sampling System for continuous emissions monitoring at the 99^th annual Air and Waste Management Association (A&WMA) Conference and Exhibition, June 20-22 at the New Orleans Convention Center.  This system, which prepares demanding gas samples for analysis, will join the company’s latest sample preparation technology for gas analyzers and continuous emissions monitoring systems at booth 234.

The GASS-2040 uses Perma Pure’s proprietary Nafion® technology to remove acid mists, coalescent liquids, water and particulates without altering the concentrations of analyte gases.  A NEMA-4x stainless steel enclosure and integral stack mounting capability improve accuracy and eliminate costly heated sample lines. The unit connects directly to the probe and dries the sample completely before transporting it to the ground.  Water-soluble analyte gases such as CO, CO₂, HCl, NO_X, O₂ and SO₂ are protected from loss through dissolution in condensate and a much lower dew point is achieved than with chiller/condenser technologies. Drying is a continuous, self-regenerating process and no routine maintenance is required.

In addition to the GASS-2040, the company offers a range of sampling systems, gas dryers, filters, and ammonia scrubbers that help to maintain sample integrity and prevent contaminants or corrosive elements from damaging analytical equipment.
