Perma Pure is pleased to announce that Desmond Morrissey has been appointed to the position of Vice President of Sales and Marketing, directing worldwide sales and promotions for the leading manufacturer of gas conditioning products.  Morrissey brings several years of prior experience with Perma Pure to his new position.

As Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Morrissey will be responsible for managing Perma Pure’s global team of sales representatives and distributors, building customer relationships, and developing new markets and applications.  To support these sales efforts, he will also be designing and implementing product marketing activities.

Morrissey initially joined Perma Pure in 1993 as its first salesperson.  He rose to Director of Sales before relocating with his family to Texas, where he joined Praxair, a global supplier of atmospheric, process and specialty gases and technologies.  Over the course of six years with Praxair, Morrissey advanced progressively through more senior sales positions.  Most recently, he was the key account manager for their electronics gases group, managing the Texas Instruments account, one of their largest.

Prior to his first tenure with Perma Pure, Morrissey was a salesperson for Pneumatic Products, a manufacturer of specialty gas dryers.  He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
