DM™-Series gas
dryers from
Perma Pure®
combine
the selectivity
of Nafion® gas
dryers with the
simplicity of
desiccant
canister d ryers.
These compact
and portable gas
dryers remove
only water
vapour from a
gas stream,
leaving other
components
unaffected. No
pumps or purge
gases are
required, and
they can remove
water vapour
from a flowing
gas stream for
hours. They can
be recharged in
moments by
simply replacing
the desiccant
and can be
reused
repeatedly.
DM™-Series gas
dryers dry
continuously
with no moving
parts, and no
electricity is
required for
drying. They
are extremely
corrosion
resistant and
can process
almost any gas.
The gaseous
sample flowing
through the
dryer comes in
contact only
with Nafion
tubing. This
very selectively
absorbs water
vapour from the
gas while
quantitatively
retaining the
remaining sample
components in
the gas stream
With Nafion®
dryers, water
vapour passes
through the
Nafion® tubing
wall and is
carried away by
a dry purge
gas. In
DM™-Series gas
dryers,
desiccant packed
around the
tubing provides
a dry purge
environment. No
power or other
utilities are
required.
Two DM™-Series
gas dryer models
are available.
The DM-060-24
contains
approximately 70
grams of
molecular sieve
and accepts a
flow rate of up
to 500ml/min.
The DM-110-24,
containing
approximately
150 grams of
molecular sieve,
is best suited
for flows of up
to one litre per
minute.
