The Proven Solution for CEMS Sample Conditioning

Full Gas Sampling System

  • High Moisture Content
  • Flow Rates Above 10 lpm
  • Sample Heating Required

The gold standard of gas sample conditioning systems, providing a higher higher moisture removal capacity than thermoelectric peltier coolers while not affecting the SO2 or NOx levels in the sample gas. When standard coolers fail to dry to a dew point low enough to lower the acid dew point, the GASS2040 will be required due to its ability to get to a lower dew point. Because the GASS2040 removes all moisture in the vapor phase, measurements are more accurate. This system is required for ultra low sulfur fuels or ultra low emissions requirements.

Mini Gas Sampling System

  • Flow Rates 1-10 lpm
  • Sample Heating Required

Available in General Purpose, Nema / Type 4x and Probe versions, Mini-GASS™ systems prepare hot gas sample streams for high performance gas analysis. Our most popular system, the Mini-GASS units remove particles, acid mists, and water vapor from a gas stream without the loss of analytes. An Ammonia Scrubber to protect the Nafion™ tubing dryer is also fitted. Nafion™ tubing based systems are the only products that can remove moisture from the sample stream without affecting the SO2 content. At low sulfur levels, traditional coolers lose up to 90% of the analyte and cannot be used for accurate measurements.

Readi-GASS Sampling System

  • Flow Rates 1-5 lpm
  • Eliminates the need for a high-temperature heated sample line

The Readi-GASS™ system is designed to remove moisture, particulate, and coalescing liquid from the sample gas while retaining the water soluble acid gases such as SO2 and NOx. By utilizing the Nafion™ tubing dryer, Readi-GASS™ can provide low level measurement of SO2, such as after the FGD at coal-based thermal power plants. The extremely robust design of Readi-GASS™ helps it deliver exceptionally accurate results, even with dirty and moist compressed air. Plus, it even compensates for temporary failure of the heated probe and sample line.

Indi-GASS Sampling System

  • Flow Rates 1-5 lpm
  • Sample Heating Required

With a rugged Nema / Type 4x corrosion resistant enclosure especially suited for corrosive environments, the Indi-GASS™ system prepares hot gas sample streams for high performance gas analysis. The IndiGASS removes particles, acid mists, and water vapor from the exhaust gas stream without any loss of SO2. Nafion™ tubing based systems are the only products that can remove moisture from the sample stream without affecting the SO2 content. At low sulfur levels, traditional coolers lose up to 90% of the analyte and cannot be used for accurate measurements.

Micro Gas Sampling System

  • Low Flow Rates below 1 lpm
  • Sample Heating Required

Problems occur when the sample gas is extracted from a wet, warm area and brought into a climate controlled area for analysis. The MicroGASS system incorporates a Perma Pure Nafion™ tubing membrane dryer, disposable 0.1 micron pre-filter and eductor to supply a clean sample to an electrochemical sensor. The dryer is sized to supply a 20-80% RH sample from ambient air at a flowrate up to 2 L/min. The product will remove mositure to a level required for the sensor to handle without the need for instrument air or water traps in the sample line. The MicroGASS is also required where the sample is hot and wet – the MicroGASS includes a heated dryer internal to the device and heated sample lines from the source.

Ambient Gas Sampling System

  • For Analyzers with Electro-chemical Sensors
  • Flow Rates up to 2 lpm
  • No Sample Heating Required
  • No Instrument Air Available

Designed to be used when no dry air source is available, the ACES is set up with a vacuum pump and Nafion™ tubing dryer in reflux mode to dry the gas sample on the spot. The primary application is to prevent moisture in the sample from condensing on the electro-chemical sensor (ECS) – the Perma Pure ACES™ systems prepare gas samples for analysis when the sample is too humid for analysis but not condensing at ambient temperature. AC Power is required.
