Can Nafion be cleaned? A possible reason your Nafion dryer or humidifier could be performing less than optimal is that contaminants coating the surface could be blocking the moisture transfer of the Nafion membrane. We would recommend replacing the dryer element or the entire dryer to return the performance to new.
You can try cleaning with D.I water or alcohol, but performance is not predictable and will not go back to 100%. These solutions do not damage the moisture transfer property of the material.
