How Dry is Dry? Determine Performance Level Required for Your Application
Perma Pure has defined four levels of dryness that our customers can require:
1.Preventing condensation / damage to the sensor
–Target dew point: +5 to+10C
2.Removing moisture for most CEMS & particulate monitoring
–Target dew point similar to Peltier coolers: +4 C
3.Eliminating water interference for NIR and improved CEMS performance
–Target dew point: -10-15 C
4.Ultimate drying for IMS and other methods
–Target dew point -40 to -60 C
