Nafion™ Tubing-Based Sample Conditioning Systems

Where a cooler-based sample conditioning system falls short, a Nafion™ tubing-based system is the answer. These systems use Nafion™ tubing instead of a cooler to dry the gas sample.

Nafion™ tubing-based sample conditioning systems have better drying performance over cooler based systems. This means less acid deposit build-up and corrosion in your analyzer, and maintenance that’s predictable.

In challenging operating conditions, cooler-based systems may be slow to adapt, or fail, causing excess water and acid to enter the optical bench of the analyzer. Repairs in these instances can cost over $30,000 and months of downtime. OurNafion™ tubing dryers remove more water than coolers, are corrosion-resistant, and have greater fault tolerance, making our Nafion™ tubing-based sample conditioning systems the cost-effective choice for challenging environments.

Coolers dry a gas sample by chilling the sample to condense-out the water. Water-soluble analytes can be lost in this process of water removal. Avoid a non-result with a Nafion™ tubing – based system, which removes water in the vapor phase, keeping water-soluble analytes in the sample, and keeping your system compliant.
